Robyn Sandoval the Executive Director of A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League. A former anti-gunner, she joined the newly formed A Girl & A Gun in March 2011 as a new gun owner. In October 2012, she stepped into the role of Technology Director and built the infrastructure and operating procedures from the ground up to enable the organization’s rapid growth (650% in 26 months). In November 2013, Robyn and Julianna Crowder partnered as 50/50 owners of the LLC, and together they created the highest quality women’s program in the nation, which hosts training events at hundreds of ranges nationwide.
As Executive Director, Robyn manages the day-to-day operations of the league. She is a Certified Pistol Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and has trained under several notable instructors. She serves on the Board of Directors of the DC Project and is the Managing Editor for Women & Guns magazine. She is a frequent speaker at national conferences and podcasts on gun-related issues, and was on the cover of TIME magazine in November 2018. For her advocacy work, she was honored with the 2019 Defender of Liberty Award from the Second Amendment Foundation. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University.
